Flowcrete has delivered the compete Floorzone solution for London’s prestigious Highbury Square development by combining the time-proven strength of Isocrete K Screed with the energy-saving properties of its Isowarm Underfloor Heating system.
After 93 years as a football stadium, home to London’s Arsenal FC, Highbury is now being transformed into a 700-strong modern apartment, penthouse and studio complex. The apartments are to be constructed around the edges of the old football pitch with the pitch itself being transformed into an attractive and colourful garden area, designed by the award winning Christopher Bradley-Hole, for both residents and the general public to enjoy.
Flowcrete have installed over 40,000m² of Isowarm Underfloor Heating and Isocrete K Screed at the site, providing both structural and thermal integrity for the entire development.
Isocrete K Screed is a semi-dry cementitious screed whose fast curing properties make it an ideal choice for large-scale commercial developments. Isowarm Underfloor Heating is proven to deliver energy savings of up to 30% compared to conventional heating systems and on top of this delivers heat where it is needed most - from the ground up.
