Isowarm, the pioneering underfloor heating system from Flowcrete, has been installed at new apartments in Highbury Square, the contemporary redevelopment of the Arsenal Football Club’s former stadium.
The Isowarm system has been installed throughout over 700 apartments on the site, across an area of 44,000 square metres.
After 93 years as a football stadium, Highbury, is now being converted into over 700 high specification studio, one, two, three bedroom apartments and penthouses, with the development being named ‘The Stadium – Highbury Square’.
Isowarm will deliver a uniform temperature throughout the development, creating a safe, efficient and economic source of heat, which adheres to the modern demands for sustainability.
With the system installed under the floor out of sight, it also fits in with the clean, modern lines of the prestigious development.
Alan Dean, sales director of Flowcrete, said: “With the cost-effective benefits of Isowarm - including possible energy savings of up to 24 per cent compared to conventional radiator systems – it not only cuts fuel bills but also helps create a more sustainable environment.
“The installation also frees up a considerable area that would normally be taken up with products such as radiators.”
Flowcrete project managed the installation of Isowarm.
Advance Screeding, a Flowcrete approved contractor based in Crayford, Kent, applied Isocrete K-Screed – which is purposed designed to work with the Isowarm system – over the underfloor heating.
